Did you end up at this page because you suspect you’ve found an April Fool’s joke?
It’s likely.
Any “book release” announcement from Ed Cyzewski that is dated April 1st is most likely an April Fool’s joke.
Here’s the deal: I have a tradition of releasing fake books on April 1st every year. It started with “Coffeeshack Theology” that merged The Shack with my book Coffeehouse Theology (Which is only $2.99 on Kindle right now by the way!) and has spiraled downward from there. Here is a list of fake book releases over the years (a familiarity with the bestselling Christian books over the past 10 years will help you get some of the jokes!):
Tweet, Use Facebook, Pray: How Digital Spirituality Wins
The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up Contemplation
The Contemplative Capitalist: Spiritual Hacks for Meditation and Making Money
The Art of the Steal: How to Profit from the Apocalypse
Tribulation of Love: The Beginning of the End Is the End of Her Love’s Beginning
The Toddler Diet: Lose Weight and Gain Faith by Eating Like Little Children
Hockey Is for Real: A Little Boy’s Astounding Journey to Hockey and Back
The Holy Bible: New Twitter Version (This ebook is no longer available)
Love Bites: A Story about Life, the Undead, and the Fate of Every Person Ever Bitten by a Vampire (This ebook is no longer available)
